Less than a month before our first experience at a Mother Earth News Fair in Albany, Oregon, Brian J. Pombo and podcast producer Sean E. Douglas set out to record “a few” episodes with speakers and people connected to the fair. Those “few” episodes turned into a 19 podcast series as we were surprised how open, friendly and gracious those who were involved with the fair were with their time to take an hour or two out of there day to talk with us.
The series starts with Andrew Perkins from Ogden Publications and the Mother Earth News Fair. And goes on with speakers and various vendors and networkers that were around the fair that we meet.
One of those was Janice Cox who is pictured below.
We wanted to give a special thank you to Janice for being so welcoming with her time. As we talked with various speakers at the fair that we’d done podcast with pre-fair, they made mention that Janice had talked with them about the podcast and had good things to say.
She also encouraged us to reachout to Justin Lair and John DeSpain from Fiber Light Fire Starters, a group we missed for some reason, as we traveled around the fair, but a conversation that was greatly appreciated and very enlightening.
